Welcome to the WHMS library blog! Yes, your librarian knows what a blog is and is also creating one! It is my intention that this blog will be updated at least twice a week, depending on what is going on. New books, old books, whatever students are reading now will be posted on here and detailed description given. Any extra information that needs to be announced to everyone will also be found here.
For this first post, I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little about me. I attended a very small high school in rural Oklahoma, where I spent a great deal of my time in the library (not much has changed!). After high school, I attended the University of Central Oklahoma where I received my degree in Elementary Education. I am married to my husband, Jason, for almost 4 years and we expecting our first child, a girl, in June. I have a lot going on, but I enjoy working with all the students here at WHMS.
If you would like to suggest a title for this blog, please fill out the information on the book form found in the library. I want to cover books that students are currently reading or have just finished. So until next time, have a good week!
